NDTV-Deakin (Australia) Scholarship; Apply by 15th May 2018

NDTV and Deakin University Australia are jointly inviting applications for NDTV Deakin Scholarship 2018 from Indian students to study on-shore at Deakin University with the view of giving back to India the skills and experience which would make an impact to the society.

It is offering 3 scholarships with 100% tuition fee waiver to any students for pursuing studies at Deakin University. The main objective of the program is to identify deserving students with a meritorious academic history and holistic achievements for studies at Deakin University.


  • Demonstration of commitment to give back to society, the knowledge and experience.
  • Significant achievements in co-curricular activities.
  • Minimum English language capability as per requirements for the course/area of study at Deakin University.
  • For Undergraduate studies at Deakin, the applicant must have –
    • More than 85% or equivalent in the 12th Indian Board Examinations/IB/GCSE.
  • For Postgraduate studies at Deakin, the applicant must have –
    • More than 80% in undergraduate degree.
    • Completed the course within the stipulated time frame.

  • Selection for the NDTV Deakin scholarship is a  three-stage process consisting of application review, face
    to face/skype interviews, and panel-led selection activities.
  • Submit the Application form. Completed application with the required Documents must be sent to [email protected]
  • All applications are received and rated on the basis of the scholarship criterion. During this stage of the selection process, each shortlisted candidates are also interviewed.
  • The top 10-15 candidates are then invited for a face-to-face interview by a panel consisting of representatives from NDTV and Deakin University.
  • Further top 5 proceed to the final round of the interview which is held by a panel of representatives from the academia, the industry, NDTV and Deakin University. This round is based on a face-to-face interview and a group discussion.

The last date for online registration is 15th May 2018, 11:59 pm for both Postgraduate and Undergraduate candidates.
